STUDENT INFO

• As the end of the year approaches, be sure to return your textbooks and library books to the library as soon as you are done with them. It is extremely important that we get books back on time so that we can accurately determine whether we have adequate numbers for future students. In order to encourage prompt returns, a $5 per book fine will be assessed for each late textbook returned after June 21, the last day of school.

• Come down to the tennis courts at lunch TODAY to watch the Dodge ball Tournament!

• Next Years AP Stat students- Come to Room 60 for important book information.

• Join Tweeters across the country TODAY sharing summer reading plans/suggestions with hashtag #summerreading

• Eastern Europe Trip 2013. Experience this life-changing journey to Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria during ski week 2013. Please come to tan informational meeting tomorrow, Friday, June 8 at lunch in Mr. Caine's room (221).

• If you would like to check if you’ve ordered a yearbook, check the list posted in the office. If you would still like to order one, please bring $90.00 CASH only to Room 49B during nutrition or lunch.

• Spain Trip 2013-meeting TODAY, June 7th at lunch in Room 48

• Do you need help with your laptop, smartphone, mobile device, or calculator? Get help from the Geek Squad in the library during lunch each Friday or by appointment. For more information, ask Mrs. Lofton at the library.

• Next year’s AP US students: You may get book ordering information on Mr. Fauver’s homework site. You can access the site through the Mira Costa web site and the “Academics” tab. Click on Departments, then Social Studies, then Mr. Fauver and finally “AP US 2012-13”.

• TODAY is Dippin Dots Day. Stop by the gym afterschool to enjoy your favorite flavor for just $3.00.

• England/Ireland/Scotland 2013 meeting in Room 60. Spots filling up fast, sign up soon to get the early bird discount.

• Please come to the CCC to pick up your scholarship notebooks. Students receiving an award will be receiving a letter in the mail. We will also have a list of students receiving an award posted outside of the CCC and the main office tomorrow, June 8th.
