STUDENT INFORMATION
• Turn in your unused or expired medication for safe disposal tomorrow, April 28th from 10am- 2pm at the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
• The Library Spine Poetry contest deadline has been extended to Monday, April 30. You can see the submissions so far on the library Flickr page at bit.ly/mchsspinepoems. Both students and staff are welcome to contribute poems. Either come to the library and create one, or email Mrs. Lofton a photo. The winner will be chosen by Faculty members, and will receive a $25 iTunes certificate.
• Last weekend to see Fiddler on the Roof. Tickets can be purchased at lunch in room 1 for $12.00 students, senior, children and $15.00 adults. Shows are TODAY, Sat., April 27th, 28th at 7:30 pm with a 2 pm matinee on Sat. the 28th.
• Only 2 days left!!! Monday, April 30th is the last day to turn in artwork for the student art show. All students are encouraged to participate. Entries can be any medium (drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, etc). See Ms. Martin, Mr. Reichardt, or Ms. Zask in Room 102, 107, or 116 for more info and official entry form.
• Richstone Walkathon is tomorrow, April 28th at the Manhattan Pier. All clubs should participate in this fundraiser as Team MCHS. Get community service hours and be altruistic. For more info Room 18.
• Team MCHS-see you all at the Richstone Walkathon at the Manhattan Beach Pier at 7:30a.m. Food, music, and charitable fun.
• The last session of the SAT Savvy Prep Class begins May 5th. Come to this intensive prep course and prepare for the June 2nd test. All are welcome! Come to Room 18/50 for more info.
• AP Students: Rosters for the 2012 AP Exams have now been posted on the front windows of the Administration Building showing room assignments and times. Please check the rosters ASAP. If you’re registered and do not see your name, please see Ms. Norris in the office immediately.
• Congratulations to the Poetry Jam winners. 3rd Place Winner-Zach Gill, 2nd Place Winner-Lee Eisen, 1st Place Winner-Rahje Branch, and Honorable Mention-Jonathon Chow.
