STUDENT INFORMATION
• Pre-sale tickets for the spring musical Fiddler on the Roof are on sale and the pre-sale price will continue until TODAY, 4/20, opening night. You can still purchase tickets at the regular price after the show opens. Pre-sale price is $10.00 students, children and senior citizens and $12.00 adults. Regular price $12.00 and $15.00, show dates 4/20, 4/21, 4/26, 4/27, 4/28 at 7:30 pm with a Sat- matinee on 4/28 at 2:00 pm. You can also purchase tickets online at www.miracostadramaboosters.org. • SAT Savvy sign-ups for the June 2nd Test Prep is finally here. Register by TODAY to get the discount. For more information go to Room 18, 50, or the CCC.
• It’s National Poetry Month. Come by the library to participate in our “Spine Poetry” Contest. The winning spine poem will win a gift certificate.
• The library is sorry that the Lauren Myracle visit has been cancelled.
• AP Students: The final three AP Exam pre-identification sessions are scheduled as follows:
-Monday, April 23, 7:00 p.m. Small Gym
-Tuesday, April 24, 7:30 p.m. Small Gym
-Wednesday, April 25, 3:30 p.m. Small Gym
Each meeting will last approximately 40 minutes. Students must attend one and need to be on time, and bring a #2 pencil and something (a clipboard, book, etc.) on which to write.
• IN-N-OUT HONOR ROLL RECOGNITION LUNCH—In-N-Out will be returning to Mira Costa on Tuesday, April 24 to serve complimentary lunches to all students who earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher at Mira Costa last semester. All eligible students must bring their current Mira Costa I.D. to the school auditorium check-in area during the regular lunch period (12:21-12:51) in order to participate. Please check the Mira Costa Website or on the lists up in the cafeteria to see if you are on the list-the offices will be closed during the in/out lunch. If you are not on the list but feel you should be please see your advisor before April 24, 2012.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Scholarship Opportunity! The American Legion has extended its scholarship to include any senior with financial need whose mother or father was an active service member, of whose aunt, uncle, or cousin is currently an active service member. Please come to the CCC ASAP to sign up to be considered for this scholarship.
• A representative from El Camino will be on campus Monday and Tuesday, April 23-24 to give English and Math placement tests. Sign up this week in the CCC to reserve a spot.
• A representative from Montana State University will be in the CCC on Tuesday, April 24th during period 3. Sign up on Naviance.
