• Reminder: Wednesday is a Department Meeting Schedule. First period starts at 10:00 am. Zero period does not meet.
• We need female models for the Fashion Show. Please come to instructor Priscy Ratcliff’s classroom, Room 112 during lunch 12:21-12:50. Each model will receive cosmetics for participating in the event.
• Submit your photos to La Vista’s 21st annual photo contest! Categories include: People, Place, Thing and Mira Costa. See our facebook page for more information. Photos must be submitted to the box in Room 6 or [email protected] by TODAY!!
• Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Hockey Teams for their spectacular wins last week!!!!!!
• This year Reflections Club is holding cover design contest. Turn in any black/white submission to Room 18 or email to [email protected]. Winner will receive a $25 gift card to Pages Book Store!
• Pre-sale tickets for the spring musical Fiddler on the Roof are on sale TODAY and the pre-sale price will continue until 4/20, opening night. You can still purchase tickets at the regular price after the show opens. Pre-sale price is $10.00 students, children and senior citizens and $12.00 adults. Regular price $12.00 and $15.00, show dates 4/20, 4/21, 4/26, 4/27, 4/28 at 7:30 pm with a Sat- matinee on 4/28 at 2:00 pm. You can also purchase tickets online at www.miracostadramaboosters.org. • Attention students: make time tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday to come by the cafeteria at lunch to vote for next year’s Mira Costa Agenda Cover!
• AP Students: The first AP Exam pre-identification session is Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 a.m. in the Small Gym. The meeting will last approximately 40 minutes. Students need to be on time, and bring a #2 pencil and something (a clipboard, book, etc.) on which to write.
• SAT Savvy sign-ups for the June 2nd Test Prep is finally here. Register by April 20th to get the discount. For more information go to Room 18, 50, or the CCC.
• It’s Tryout Day!!! Cheerleader and Song leader candidates, please meet in the Cafeteria TODAY at 3:30pm with your completed Tryout Packet. Can’t wait to see you all there!
• The MB Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Young Entrepreneurs Award of $500 for students to use in their business or non-profit. Applications on the website.
• Costa Rica 2013 meeting Wednesday at lunch in Room 47. PURA VIDA!!!
