• It’s Brain Tumor Awareness Week, and S-Club is supporting brain tumor research! FACT: Each year more than 200,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor. 4,000 of these are children. Primary brain tumors are those that begin in the brain and tend to stay in the brain. Metastatic brain tumors begin as a cancer elsewhere in the body and migrate, or metastasize, to the brain. So please buy a Brainwaves bracelet from S-Club members for $1 and also join us for a fundraiser at Rubio’s TODAY (flyers will be given out)! Proceeds will go to Brainwave, a nonprofit which supports new kinds of research for pediatric brain tumors.
