• Club Day TODAY. Take your money to the new quad and buy some good stuff!!
• For the next two weeks, PACE will put posters around campus to encourage everyone to participate in Random Acts of Kindness. The purpose is to make our community a better, friendlier place to live. Please take a moment out of your day and join us as we participate in random acts of kindness.
• Come out and support the Boys’ Volleyball Teams in their league opener at rival Redondo TODAY, 3/15. Freshmen@ 5:00, JV@ 6:00 Varsity @ 7:00. Go Mustangs!!
• Calling all students who want to model in the Mira Costa Fashion Show. Come to Room 112 TODAY, 3/15 and on 3/16 during lunch time. Boys and Girls welcome! Please bring a picture of yourself it you can.
• Come to the library to see the new display of outstanding student photography projects. These photos are the top projects from Ms. Schoenemann’s photography classes that are being submitted to the Californiastreaming.org annual photography contest.”
• This year Reflections Club is holding cover design contest. Turn in any black/white submission to Room 18 or email to [email protected]. Winner will receive a $25 gift card to Pages Book Store!
• The three-on-three basketball tournament sign-ups will be TODAY and Friday, March 16th outside the student store at lunch.
• The library will be closed during school TODAY, 3/15, but will reopen at 3.

• Eastern Europe Trip Ski Week 2012-If you are interested in an exciting and life-changing visit to the cities, concentration camps and World War II sites of Central and Eastern Europe, please email Mr. [email protected]; or stop by Room 221 before school or at snack.
• SAT Savvy Intensive Prep Course-sign up by Friday the 16th to get the discount for the May 5th test prep. All are welcome!
• TODAY is Dippin Dot Day. Stop by the gym afterschool to enjoy your favorite flavor for just $3.00
• MCHS Cheer and Song tryouts are coming in April. Please pick up a tryout packet in the main office or online at www.mchsprpsquad.com. Mandatory tryout meeting will be Wednesday, April 11th at 7pm in the library.
• Come out to Dessert Theatre TONIGHT, March 15th at 7pm at O’Donnell Hall at American Martyrs to watch the Drama scenes that will compete at Fullerton Festival $5.00 at the door gets you great desserts and fabulous entertainment.

• El Camino and Santa Monica Community Colleges are offering several scholarships to MCHS seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please come to the CCC for more information.
