STUDENT INFORMATION
• For the next two weeks, PACE will put posters around campus to encourage everyone to participate in Random Acts of Kindness. The purpose is to make our community a better, friendlier place to live. Please take a moment out of your day and join us as we participate in random acts of kindness.
• Come out and support the Boys’ Volleyball Teams in their league opener at rival Redondo this Thursday. Freshmen@ 5:00, JV@ 6:00 Varsity @ 7:00. Go Mustangs!!
• Calling all students who want to model in the Mira Costa Fashion Show. Come to Room 112 on the 15th and 16th of March during lunch time. Boys and Girls welcome! Please bring a picture of yourself it you can.
• Come to the library to see the new display of outstanding student photography projects. These photos are the top projects from Ms. Schoenemann’s photography classes that are being submitted to the Californiastreaming.org annual photography contest.”
• Congratulations to the Mira Costa Cheerleading Team for placing 2nd at last weekend’s cheerleading competition. Go Costa!
• This year Reflections Club is holding cover design contest. Turn in any black/white submission to Room 18 or email to [email protected]. Winner will receive a $25 gift card to Pages Book Store!
• The three-on-three basketball tournament sign-ups will be TODAY through Friday, March 16th outside the student store at lunch.
• SAT Savvy Intensive Prep Program signups are here. Signup by March 16th and you will get a discount. You get 18 hours of instruction, 4 practice tests, and taught by actual teachers. Go to Room 188, 50, or the CCC for more information.
• Still accepting Planner Cover design entries. Be one of three students to win a $100 gift certificate! Deadline is March 30.
• The library will be closed from 1:30 – 3 TODAY. The library will be closed during school tomorrow and Friday, but will reopen at 3 tomorrow.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATION
• The CSF Spring Membership Drive has been extended to TODAY, March 14th which will be the last day to turn in applications.
• Juniors and Seniors: check the Mira Costa website for very important CSF information!
• Come to Room 33 at lunch TODAY and help save lives at Premature Baby Protection Club!
• If you’re interested in performing at this year’s Manhattan Beach Relay for Life please attend a mandatory meeting in Room 45 on Tuesday, March 20 at lunch.

• El Camino and Santa Monica Community Colleges are offering several scholarships to MCHS seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please come to the CCC for more information.

• Catalyst Test Prep is offering an ACT Bootcamp at MCHS on Saturday, 3/24 and Sunday, 3/25. Info flyer is available in the CCC.
