STUDENT INFORMATION
• For the next two weeks, PACE will put posters around campus to encourage everyone to participate in Random Acts of Kindness. The purpose is to make our community a better, friendlier place to live. Please take a moment out of your day and join us as we participate in random acts of kindness.
• Come to the library to see the new display of outstanding student photography projects. These photos are the top projects from Ms. Schoenemann’s photography classes that are being submitted to the Californiastreaming.org annual photography contest.”
• Congratulations to the Mira Costa Cheerleading Team for placing 2nd at last weekend’s cheerleading competition. Go Costa!
• This year Reflections Club is holding cover design contest. Turn in any black/white submission to Room 18 or email to [email protected]. Winner will receive a $25 gift card to Pages Book Store!
• The three-on-three basketball tournament sign-ups will be TODAY through Friday, March 16th outside the student store at lunch.
• SAT Savvy Intensive Prep Program signups are here. Signup by March 16th and you will get a discount. You get 18 hours of instruction, 4 practice tests, and taught by actual teachers. Go to Room 188, 50, or the CCC for more information.
• Still accepting Planner Cover design entries. Be one of three students to win a $100 gift certificate! Deadline is March 30.
• Mini College Fair on campus TODAY during Lunch!!! College representatives will set up on the wide walkway behind the library across from the 30’s building.
• The library will be closed from 1:30 – 3 on Wednesday. The library will be closed during school on Thursday and Friday, but will reopen at 3 on Thursday.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATION
• The CSF Spring Membership Drive has been extended to Wednesday, March 14th which will be the last day to turn in applications.
• Juniors and Seniors: check the Mira Costa website for very important CSF information!
• The NHS Committees for both the painting project and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program will meet TODAY at lunch in Room 32.
• Friendship Circle at lunch TODAY in Room 114.

SENIORS
• El Camino and Santa Monica Community Colleges are offering several scholarships to MCHS seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please come to the CCC for more information.
• Applications for Senior Graduation or Senior Recognition are available in the Guidance Office.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Catalyst Test Prep is offering an ACT Bootcamp at MCHS on Saturday, 3/24 and Sunday, 3/25. Info flyer is available in the CCC.
