• REMINDER: Mira Costa High School will be closed for Winter Break 2/19/12 thru 2/24/12
• Attn: Students/Parents, please do not deliver or have delivered Birthday/Special Occasion flowers/stuffed animal/balloons, etc. to your student while at school. The admin/attendance office will not contact them nor have the items delivered to the classroom.
• It’s time to vote for California Young Reader Medal book nominees. Come by the library to vote by March 30.
For the love of reading: TLC: The Library Club is collecting books for our annual book drive to send them to a worthy charity. Please bring gently-used books to the library and deposit them in the labeled box by the door. Thanks for your support.
• Come to the library to view our display of books for Black History Month, and consider checking one out.

SPORTS
• Attention winter sport athletes transitioning to Track & Field for the spring: please check with Coach Moe Russell by the end of this week to find out the practice schedule for Ski Week. You can find him on the track from 2:00-4:00pm.
SENIORS
• Attn: Seniors completing a scholarship notebook: Transcripts will be available for you to pick up in the CCC. Please make sure you have your transcript inserted into your books before you turn them in. Scholarship notebooks are due Wed. February 29th by the end of lunch period. No exceptions.
• Order forms and money for Senior Sweatshirts are due by 2/29 at the end of the day.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Attn: Juniors: Catalyst is holding a SAT Boot camp at MCHS on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th from 9am -1pm both days, to prepare students for the March 10th SAT.
