• Happy Valentine’s Day!
• Wednesday, Feb 15th will be Department Meeting Schedule, zero period does not meet.
• Mira Costa T shirt/Sweatshirt order forms available in the Admin. Office.
• Baseball tryouts after school at the baseball field TODAY through Wednesday, 2-15. Any questions see Coach Olson in room 203.
• It’s time to vote for California Young Reader Medal book nominees. Come by the library to vote by March 30.
• Attn. Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors: A representative from the U.S. Naval Academy will be in the CCC during lunch on Wed., February 15th to discuss admission requirements and life at the Naval Academy.
• It’s time for the annual student planner cover contest! 3 winning designs will be voted upon. Submit 5 x 8 artwork by March 30 to admin office!
• Come share the love at Valentine’s Noon-time theatre TODAY the 14th in Room 1 at lunch.
• Come to our Annual Aids Benefit Thursday, February 16th at 7 pm in Room 1. Donations $5.00 and all proceeds go to Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids.
• Come to the library to view our display of books for Black History Month, and consider checking one out.
• Congratulations to the Mira Costa Cheerleading Competition Team for competing at Nationals in Florida this past week- welcome back and good job!
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Please help the Library Club help our community by donating new/ gently used books to the library/ main office. For the love of reading, DONATE! Books will be donated to a local shelter.
• Come invest some of your time at lunch on Wednesday and visit Investor’s Club in Room 225. No prior investing knowledge needed.
• Come to Giving Hope Club Wednesdays in Room 45! We are taking our yearbook picture this Wednesday so it is very important that everyone comes.

SENIORS
• Attn: Seniors completing a scholarship notebook: Transcripts will be available for you to pick up in the CCC Starting TODAY. The CCC will be open today and Wed. Please make sure you have your transcript inserted into your books before you turn them in. Scholarship notebooks are due Wed. February 29th by the end of lunch period. No exceptions.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Attn: Juniors: Catalyst is holding a SAT Boot camp at MCHS on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th from 9am -1pm both days, to prepare students for the March 10th SAT. • The CCC will be closed Thursday 2/16 and Friday 2/17 while the counselors are on college tours.
