STUDENT INFORMATION
• Baseball tryouts after school at the baseball field Monday 2-13 through Wednesday 2-16. Any questions see Coach Olson in room 203.
• AP students: Did you miss registering for the AP exams? There will be a late registration TODAY at lunch only at the student store. An additional fee of $15 for each exam will be charged.
• Have someone special in your life? Come buy a Valgram for that special someone during lunch at the student store. $1.00 for flower, $1.00 for card and $1.00 for lollipop.
• It’s time to vote for California Young Reader Medal book nominees. Come by the library to vote by March 30.
• Due to meetings, the library will be closed Periods 5 and 6 TODAY and before school on Wednesday.
• Buy your “MC Swag” beanies at lunch when you pick-up your Valgrams, cost is $10.00.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Growing Great meeting TODAY. We are taking our yearbook picture! Come to Room 15.
• Cooking Club is TODAY in Room 5. Everyone is welcome. The theme is grandma’s favorite dish.
• Come to Girl’s League in Room 34 at lunch on Thursday.
• TODAY is Dippin Dots Day. Stop by the gym after school to enjoy your favorite flavor for just $3.00.
• Robin’s HH Club will meet TODAY in LC Room 407 at lunch. See you then.

• Invisible Children’s assembly, Monday, Feb. 27th during periods 2, 3 & 4. Email [email protected] to sign up.
• Come to Invisible Children’s Club to hear from a special guest speaker in Room 46 at lunch.
SPORTS
• Congratulations to the Varsity Cheer Competition Team for qualifying to compete at Nationals. Our cheerleaders head off to Florida for a four day competition. Good luck ladies!
SENIORS
• Two scholarships are available for senior girls: The Women in Business Scholarship and the South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association Scholarship. Please check your Naviance email (CCC weekly update) for details. Applications and instructions are available in the CCC.
• Please make sure all of the colleges you have applied to are listed in your Naviance account. Please update your admission status as it becomes available to you.
• Attn. Seniors completing a scholarship notebook: Transcripts will be available for you to pick up in the CCC the week of Feb.13th. The CCC will be open Mon, Tues and Wed. Please make sure you have your transcript inserted into your books before you turn them in. Scholarship notebooks are due Wed. February 29th by the end of lunch period. No exceptions.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Attn: Juniors: Catalyst is holding a SAT Boot camp at MCHS on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th from 9am -1pm both days, to prepare students for the March 10th SAT. FACULTY
• I have 25 tickets available to see Billy Elliot on Fri., May 11th at 8pm. Tickets price $74.00 orchestra seats. Checks made payable to MCHS Drama Boosters. See Carol Mathews in Room 1 if interested.
