STUDENT INFORMATION
• Mr. Fish’s 1st semester Noir Class. We will meet TODAY at lunch in Room 220 to read your finals. Bring your lunches and your laughs. They are hysterical. Alex Sullivan is our STAR!
• Baseball tryouts after school at the baseball field Monday 2-13 through Wednesday 2-16. Any questions see coach Olson in room 203.
• AP Students: Don’t forget to sign up to register to take your AP exams TODAY at lunch only at the student store. Please bring your worksheets filled out and a pen to complete the official registration form. Checks ($92.00 for each exam) should be made payable to Mira Costa High.
• It’s time for the Neptunian Woman’s Club Art and Photo Contest! Entry forms are available in the admin. office, or from your Art or Photo teacher. There will be two themes this year: 1) Open Theme and 2) Manhattan Beach 100 Years Celebration. Deadline to turn in entries is Friday, March 9, 2012. Good luck to everyone!
• Any student interested in taking the American Math Competition Test (AMC10 or AMC12) sign up in Room 59 this week at lunch. The test is February 7th.
• Last chance to sign up for the SAT Savvy intensive prep course. Come Saturday, February 4th at 8:00 AM to Room 18. Bring a pencil and a calculator.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Robin’s HH club will meet TODAY in the LC room 407 at lunch. See you there!
• Come help us raise money for Polio Vaccines and buy an ice cream sandwich from the chunk-n-chip food truck TODAY, Feb. 3rd from 2:30- 6:00 on stadium way

SPORTS
• Costa Girls Water Polo is hosting a novice tournament. Come watch teams from across the South Bay! Snack Shack opens on the pool deck at 2:00 with ice cream, burgers, chicken teriyaki, drinks, and snacks.
SENIORS
• Two scholarships are available for senior girls: The Women in Business Scholarship and the South Bay Alumnae Panhellenic Association Scholarship. Please check your Naviance email (CCC weekly update) for details. Applications and instructions are available in the CCC.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Attn: Juniors: Catalyst is holding a SAT Boot camp at MCHS on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th from 9am -1pm both days, to prepare students for the March 10th SAT.
