STUDENT INFORMATION
• Signups for the Dodge ball Tournament will be TODAY, $10.00 per team in the quad at lunch.
• Costa Rica 2013. Interested students please see Senora Geczi in Room 47.
• Come watch and support Mira Costa Dance perform in their annual winter dance concert. Dancember TODAY, Dec. 1st at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $9.00 at the door. Faculty gets in free with their ID. Hope to see you there!
• Auditions Packets for the after school second Mira Costa Jazz Ensemble will be available at a brief informational meeting TODAY, Dec. 1st at lunch in the band room. Assessments will take place during the week of Dec. 12th.
• The award winning Mira Costa Color guard is transitioning into its winter season. Tryout clinics will be held next week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Dec. 5th, 7th and 9th from 5-8 pm in Room 2. If you are interested in joining, but have not already contacted us, please see Mr. Carlson in Room 2 before the end of the week.
• Any bands interested in playing at the Lend a Hand holiday benefit show, please contact Kelli Sugimoto, Chanel Haifley or Rebecca Hext. Thanks you.
• TODAY is Dippin Dots Day. Cookies and Cream, Banana Split, Rainbow Ice and Cookie Dough will be waiting for you at the gym. Stop by the gym afterschool today to enjoy your favorite flavor for just $ 3.00.
• Come pick up an application to compete in the national recitation competition “Poetry Out Loud” in Room 34. Applications are due Friday, December 16th!
• All new players interested in trying out for boys’ tennis: Tryouts will be held Tuesday, December 6th and Wednesday, December 7th from 3 to 5pm on the MCHS Tennis Courts. Players must attend both days.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Cooking cub meets TODAY in Room 5 during lunch. This week is cultural week! Everyone is welcome!
• What are you doing today? Come to Room 61 at lunch for Key Club to get your community on!
• Girls’ League meeting TODAY in Room 34! It’s the coolest club in school.

• Love Music? Want to be heard? Come to Street Musicians’ Society Tuesdays at lunch in RG16.
• Comedy Sports match December 3rd in the Drama Room. Come early.
• Teens Against Domestic Violence Club meets TODAY at lunch in Room 47.
• Attention NHS members: There is a meeting tomorrow, December 2nd in the auditorium. If you know you won’t be able to go to the meeting, please talk to Jackson Casady or Mrs. Wachell in Room 32 TODAY.

SPORTS
• Pacific Shores basketball tournament continues, TODAY, 12/3. 3-7pm at Fisher gym, students are free, charge for adults. Snacks for purchase. Let’s fill the gym, GO COSTA.
• All returning boys’ tennis players: There will be a very brief meeting for all returning players on Tuesday, December 6th at 3:00 at the MCHS Tennis Courts. Any problems, email [email protected]
SENIORS
• All seniors need to log onto their Naviance account and input the list of colleges they are applying to. Please do this before Winter Break! If you have any questions or need detailed instructions, please come to the CCC.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Spring applications for So Cal ROC courses are in the CCC.
• College Visits in The CCC:
