• Attention Students: There is an after game dance this Friday, Oct., 14th at 9:15 in the Costa cafeteria, $3.00 w/ASB marker, $4.00 W/out ASB Marker
• Seniors and Juniors: Jostens Class Ring orders will be taken during snack and lunch in the Quad TODAY and on Oct. 14th. Bring a $50.00 deposit.
• New So Cal Roc classes will be starting on Nov. 7th. See your counselors for applications or signup in the Career Center to see Pat Morrow for more information.
• The Mira Costa Library and our Library Club are celebrating Teen Read Month this month. There’s lots of ways you can participate: - Visit our Scary Books display.
- Contests galore! Check out a library book and earn a chance to guess the number of candies in our candy jar and win the jar.
- Also, enter the bookmark contest, poster contest, or photo contest.
• On October 19, join our Library Club and other library clubs throughout the U.S. for a virtual book club discussion of Hunger Games.

• Hey everyone. Thursdays are now Dippin' Dots Days. Come out to Stadium Way (between the Football Field and the Gym) and enjoy a sweet treat after school today. We will have assorted flavors every Thursday. Just $3.

SPORTS
• Boys Volleyball Tryouts will be held on Monday, October 24th in the Main Gym. Freshmen will tryout from 3:00-4:30, and all other grades from 4:30-6:30. Any questions, see Mr. Ninnis in Room 52.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• The PSAT will be administered this Saturday morning at 8:00am. Please check the list posted outside of the office or library to make sure you are registered and to learn your assigned testing room number. Students must report to their assigned testing room at 7:45 am. “Students must bring a #2 pencil and a calculator on test day.
