• Students who have an “excused 0, 1st, or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get an “Off-Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-Grounds will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch, or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police without the Off-Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation.

• The library is now open from 7:30 AM – 5 PM Monday through Thursday and 7:30 AM – 3 PM on Fridays, with occasional period closures for meetings. Mrs. Lofton, your Teacher Librarian, along with her student aides and volunteers, are available to help you until 3 PM each day. From 3 PM – 5 PM Monday through Thursday, Teachers Mr. McAvin and Mr. Zeoli staff the library, and walk-in tutoring is available from volunteer student tutors. Please have your ID for all library and textbook checkouts.
If you have checked out any textbooks that you find are damaged, please report the damage to the library immediately so that you won’t be held responsible when you return them at the end of the year. Also, please remember that any textbooks returned after the final day of the class will be charged a $5 per book fee. So, plan to return all your books on time this year.
Great library news this year is that we now have wifi in the library. Ask Mrs. Lofton for help getting on. And,
the library has back issues of magazines free for the taking. Come by and help yourself.
