STUDENT INFORMATION
• AP Students! Don’t forget to sign up to register to take your AP exams TODAY at lunch only at the student store. Please bring your worksheets filled out and a pen to complete the official registration form. Checks ($92.00 for each exam) should be made payable to Mira Costa High School.
• Talent Show tickets are on sale now in Room 40 or 43! Tickets are $3 w/ ASB sticker and $4 w/o. They will be $5 at the door TODAY.
• SAT Savvy Test Prep starts February 5th. Last chance to sign up. Come to Room 18, 50, or the CCC.
• Starting Monday, February 7th students that have an “excused 1st,5th or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get an “Off -Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-grounds will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police without the Off- Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation.

• Redondo Beach sister cities is inviting Mira Costa students who are interested in participating in an exchange with their sister city in China. If you are interested in going to China during Spring Break on a sister city exchange, see Mr. Mancilla for further info. Deadline is February 20th.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Help the planet and your community! Come down to Partners for the Planet Club TODAY at lunch in Room 205. It will be unbeleafable!!!
• New Life Christian Club meeting TODAY in Room 66 at lunch.
• Lend a Hand Club meeting TODAY in Room 41!
SENIORS
• College Mid year reports are due to your guidance counselors no later than Feb. 4th. Please get them in on time.
• Please remind your parents that there will be a spring senior parent meeting on Tuesday February 8th at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.
SPORTS
• Girls Lacrosse is holding another tryout this TODAY at 4:45 pm at the stadium. Please bring your gear (running shoes, stick, goggles, mouth guard, and cleats) we are looking for more players. No experience necessary.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• A representative from FIDM will be in the CCC TODAY during 3rd period. All students are welcome.
FACULTY
• TODAY is Recycling Thursday. Please have a student take your classroom bin to the recycling center on Stadium Way behind Room 74. Thank you.
