STUDENT INFORMATION
• It’s time for the Neptunian Woman’s Club Art and Photo contest! Entry forms are available in the office or from Ms. Zask, Mr. Reichardt, Ms. Martin, Mr. Mellis’ room or Mr. Hernandez. Deadline to turn in entries is Tuesday January 18th, 2011.
• The Library has a new website. Be sure to check it out at mchslibrary.org. The Library will be closed during period 6 on Tuesday and from 1:30-3 on Wednesday while Mrs. Lofton is at a staff meeting.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Miracles for Many is having a fundraiser, Wednesday December 8th, make sure to get your flyer from Room 43 and come support the club!
• TLC: The Library Club officers and any other interested members, remember to come to the library at lunch TODAY to work on the recommended books display.
• Reflections will meet TODAY in Room 18 at lunch. Everyone is welcome to come and contribute to Mira Costa’s literary magazine.
SENIORS
• Applications now being accepted for the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute Summer Fellowship Program. For information, contact: College and Career Center or the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at 310-222-3624
• Attn Seniors: If you applied to Cal State San Marcos, Cal State Monterey Bay or Cal State Channel Islands you need to submit an official transcript in order for your application to be considered complete.
The due dates are:
San Marcos and Monterey Bay – transcript due by Dec. 15th
Channel Islands – transcript due by Jan. 31
Other Cal State campuses will notify you through your web portal account if they need a transcript.
SPORTS
• Boys Tennis tryouts for any boy new to the team will be Wednesday, December 8th and Thursday,
December 9th, from 3 to 5pm at the MCHS courts. All players must attend both days.
