STUDENT INFORMATION
• Take a trip back in time. Come see the library’s display of 1950’s La Vistas, yearbooks, and reading from the era.
• Submit your poetry, short stories, art, or photography to Room 18 to have them published in Mira Costa’s Literary Magazine.
• SCROC meets Monday November 22nd and Tuesday November 23rd. Bus will pick up at regular time.
• SCROC does not meet on Wednesday November 24th, Thursday November 25th or Friday November 26th.
• Reminder: School will be closed November 22nd-26th for Thanksgiving break.
• PTA’s Reflections Art contest is accepting your Art Photography, Film, Literature, Musical Composition or Dance Choreography entries. This year’s theme is “Together We Can” rules and forms are in the office. Deadline for submissions is TODAY, November 19th by 3pm.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• 1- Any person who wanted to start a club this year must turn in the paperwork, including by-laws are due TODAY, November 19th.
2- The last day of club presentations will be Monday, November 29th at 5:00 pm.
3- No new clubs will be chartered until next fall 2011-2012.
• Come to Noon-Time Theater at lunch TODAY in Room 1 for some Thanksgiving scenes.
• Come to Food Critics Club TODAY at lunch in Room 50.

SPORTS
• Mustang Football heads in to CIF playoffs TODAY. We will host Moorpark at 7:30 pm in Waller Stadium. Tickets will be on sale at lunch TODAY in the student store as well as at the gate. Adult tickets are $8 and student/children 12 and under are $5. Come out and support the Mustangs.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Blue Train Tutoring is conducting a contest for free College Prep Tutoring. To enter, students need to submit a 60 second video answering the question, “Why do you want to go to college?” The contest deadline is December 10th. More information is available in the CCC.
FACULTY
