STUDENT INFORMATION
• Attention all students interested in going on the Tall Ship Expedition aboard the Tole Mour, we will be meeting in Room 63, TODAY, November 18th at lunch.
• Take a trip back in time. Come see the library’s display of 1950’s La Vistas, yearbooks, and reading from the era.
• Submit your poetry, short stories, art, or photography to Room 18 to have them published in Mira Costa’s Literary Magazine.
• SCROC meets Monday November 22nd and Tuesday November 23rd. Bus will pick up at regular time.
• SCROC does not meet on Wednesday November 24th, Thursday November 25th or Friday November 26th.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• 1- Any person who wanted to start a club this year must turn in the paperwork, including by-laws by this Friday, November 19th.
2- The last day of club presentations will be Monday, November 29th at 5:00 pm.
3- No new clubs will be chartered until next fall 2011-2012.
• Growing Great Club meets TODAY in Room 15 and anyone is welcome!
• New Life Christian Club meeting TODAY in Room 66.
• Lend A Hand Club meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 41. Join in on our effort to aid the homeless.
• Friendship Circle meets TODAY in Room 114! All are welcome!
SENIORS
SPORTS
• Mustang Football heads in to CIF playoffs this Friday. We will host Moorpark at 7:30 pm in Waller Stadium. Tickets will be on sale at lunch on Thursday and Friday in the student store as well as at the gate Friday night. Adult tickets are $8 and student/children 12 and under are $5. Come out and support the Mustangs.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Blue Train Tutoring is conducting a contest for free College Prep Tutoring. To enter, students need to submit a 60 second video answering the question, “Why do you want to go to college?” The contest deadline is December 10th. More information is available in the CCC.
FACULTY
• Submit your poetry, short stories, art, or photography to Room 18 to be published in our teacher section of Mira Costa’s Literary Magazine.
• Reminder: Flu and Pertussis Vaccine Clinic TODAY, November 18th, 1-4 pm in the guidance conference room.
• TODAY is Recycling Thursday. Please have a student take your classroom bin to the recycling center on Stadium Way behind Room 74. Thank you.
