STUDENT INFORMATION
• Congratulations to the Mira Costa Cheer Squad for a fantastic job and earning a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Championships at the Walt Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida, while competing at the UCA Regional at UC Irvine this past weekend. Great job ladies! We are all so proud of you!
• Attention all students interested in going on the Tall Ship Expedition aboard the Tole Mour, we will be meeting in Room 63, Thursday, November 18th at lunch.
• The Black Scholars Union will hold its first meeting TODAY at lunch in the auditorium. Please come directly to the auditorium at the beginning of lunch.
• Take a trip back in time. Come see the library’s display of 1950’s La Vistas, yearbooks, and reading from the era.
• Submit your poetry, short stories, art, or photography to Room 18 to have them published in Mira Costa’s Literary Magazine
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• TLC: The Library Club is holding a special meeting in the library meeting room during lunch on Thursday. New members are welcome. If you are unable to attend this important meeting please see Mrs. Lofton by Friday in order to let her know your committee preference and contact information.
• 1- Any person who wanted to start a club this year must turn in the paperwork, including by-laws by this Friday, November 19th.
2- The last day of club presentations will be Monday, November 29th at 5:00 pm.
3- No new clubs will be chartered until next fall 2011-2012.
• For students participating in the Quik Science Challenge, we will be meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 63.
• Pink Ribbon Club meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 67.
• Cooking Club TODAY at lunch in Room 5.
• Come to Drama Club TODAY at lunch in Room 1!
• Come to Heart to Heart Club in Room 120 TODAY to help the less fortunate do art projects!
• Red Cross Club meets TODAY in Room 73 during lunch. Come by to learn how you can accumulate community volunteer service hours with the Red Cross.

SPORTS
• Boys Water Polo heads to CIF Semi finals TODAY. The Mustangs will face off against Laguna Beach at 3:30 pm at UC Irvine’s Woollet Aquatics Center: Come on out and support the team.
• Mustang Football heads in to CIF playoffs this Friday. We will host Moorpark at 7:30 pm in Waller Stadium. Tickets will be on sale at lunch on Thursday and Friday in the student store as well as at the gate Friday night. Adult tickets are $8 and student/children 12 and under are $5. Come out and support the Mustangs.
