STUDENT INFORMATION.

• PTA’s Reflections Art contest is accepting your Art Photography, Film, Literature, Musical Composition or Dance Choreography entries. This year’s theme is “Together We Can” rules and forms are in the office deadline for submissions are Friday November 16th.

• Last chance to try-out for Boys Soccer. Meet Mr. Smith in Room 26 at 3:00 TODAY, Tuesday and Wednesday November 8th, 9th, and 10th.

• Come and enjoy the Foreign Language Department’s display of student projects for Dia de los Muertos in the library.

• Spain Trip meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Room 48.


CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• The next meeting of the new library club will be on Tuesday at lunch.

• Reflections will have a club meeting TODAY in Room 18. Everyone is welcome to come and contribute to Mira Costa’s Library Magazine.

• S-club meets in Room 111 TODAY at lunch.

• New Channels Club will be meeting TODAY at lunch in Mr. Knutson’s room, Room 201.

• All Habitat for Humanity members, remember to bring money for t-shirts tomorrow!

• Come to Eco Club TODAY at lunch in Room 73.



SENIORS

• Reminder- If you need your counselor to fill out paperwork and/or write you a letter of recommendation for College applications, the regular decision application deadline to turn in to your counselor is November 10th. (Be sure to have all your packets ready including your transcript.)

• Senior class picture has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 16th, 9:30 am at Waller Stadium.


SPORTS


COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

• Seniors interested in learning about work experience internships at Northrop Grumman during the second semester should come to the CCC at lunch on Tuesday, November 9th. Any student with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is a U.S. citizen is eligible to apply for these internships.
