STUDENT INFORMATION.

• PTA’s Reflections Art contest is accepting your Art Photography, Film, Literature, Musical Competition or Dance Choreography entries. This year’s theme is “Together We Can” rules and forms are in the office deadline for submissions are Friday November 16th.

• The library is forming a new club TLC: The Library Club for students who love reading book selections. Interested students are invited to an organizational meeting during lunch TODAY, October 26th. We will talk about ideas for club activities and about establishing club officers. Please bring your lunch and arrive promptly at the library at the beginning of lunch period. Light refreshments will be provided questions? See Mrs. Lofton, Teacher Librarian, in the library. Please also note that the library will not be open for individual visits during lunch TODAY while we are holding this organizational meeting. Congratulations to Chloe Weiss, winner of the Teen Road week drawing. Chloe wins a Barnes and Noble gift certificate.

• All students interested in participating in the Quik Science Competition meet in Room 63 at lunch TODAY.

• If you are interested in going to Spain over Spring Break it is not too late to sign up! Pay your deposit this week as prices will be going up next week. See Mrs. Shapiro in Room 48 for more info.

• Students interested in participating in the “Plastics are Forever” Environmental youth summit please meet Wednesday, October 27th in Room 63 at lunch.

• Basketball Finals TODAY Team Farrel vs. Cheeseballers! Everyone come to the gym and watch!

SENIORS

• Costa goes Green! This year, in an effort to help preserve our environment, Graduation Cap and Gowns from Jostens will be bio-degradable. The gowns are vibrant in color and will last until approximately 5 years if it does not touch the ground. A representative from Jostens will be here on November 2nd to explain to senior students how to order cap and gowns, announcements and other graduation memorabilia. The representative will then return November 9th to take orders. Senior students will be released from their 2nd period classes at 9:30 am on November 2nd to attend the senior meeting in the auditorium. On November 9th, the representative from Jostens will be available to take orders between 7:30 am -1:30 pm in front of the College and Career Center. Students may place their order before school, snack, or lunch. The representative will also be in the College and Career Center from 7:00-8:00 pm that same day/evening.
