STUDENT INFORMATION.
• PTA’s Reflections Art contest is accepting your Art Photography, Film, Literature, Musical Competition or Dance Choreography entries. This year’s theme is “Together We Can” rules and forms are in the office deadline for submissions are Friday November 16th.
• Come out to the gym at the beginning of lunch to watch the Basketball tournament this week.
• Seniors and Juniors reminder Jostens Class ring orders TODAY, October 21st and Friday October 22nd during snack and lunch in the quad.
• Students can pick up their Mira Costa logo items at the student store during lunch through Friday.
• Come support Boys Water Polo vs. Palos Verdes 3pm at home TODAY, Thursday, Oct. 21st. Snack stand will be serving Chipotle Burritos, chips, guacamole and salsa. Also we will be serving Sprinkle cupcakes. Come out and support Boys Water Polo!
• Do you love Books? Would you like to promote the library and help plan and participate in library special events? Would you like first crack at great new books? Come to an organizational meeting during lunch on Tuesday, October 26th, to help start a new Mira Costa club: TLC-The Library Club. We will talk about ideas for club activities and about establishing club officers. Please bring your lunch and arrive promptly at the beginning of lunch period. Light refreshments will be provided. Questions? See Mrs. Lofton, Teacher Librarian, in the library.
• There are just two days left TODAY and tomorrow to participate in the Teen Read Week Drawing. Come by the library and borrow a “book with bite” and you will be entered in a drawing for a bookstore gift certificate also, come check out the great portraits on display courtesy of Ms. Martin and Mr. Reichardt’s art classes.
