STUDENT INFORMATION.

• Sign up’s start TODAY through Friday for the 3v3 Basketball tournament. 5 dollars per team.

• Don’t forget Cheer and Song tryouts are, October 12th-Thursday, October 14th. Tryout packets can be picked up in the Main Office or downloaded from our website www.mchspepsqaud.com. It’s been an amazing year so far and the best is yet to come. We hope to see you next week!

• Detention information: Monday and Wednesday, 3:15-4:15, Room 101 Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 am, Room 101.

• Students registered to take the PSAT exam this Saturday October 16th should go check the schedules posted outside of the main office and the library to see their room assignment. Go to the CCC if you registered and your name is not on the classroom assignment list. Students should arrive at 7:45 am. Test begins at 8am sharp. Late students will not be admitted to the test. Bring a #2 pencils, calculator, and photo ID to the test.

• Several congratulations are due from the library. First goes to Sophomore Kevin Gerami for winning the Banned Books Week Contest. Kevin was selected at random from all the students who answered all the quiz questions correctly. Kevin wins a Starbucks Gift Certificate. Second congrats goes to Sophomore Masato Goda, who was selected at random from the responders to the student library survey. Masato will be featured in a library READ poster. The library also congratulates the following students who participated in the Manhattan Beach Public Library Summer Reading Program: Jagriti Agrawal, Kate Bacich, Stephanie Caridad, Alexa Harrison, Andrew Pasterczyk, Emma Salzman, and Montana Troeger. All students who participated in these programs are invited to come by the library for a treat.

• PTA’s Reflections Art contest is accepting your Art Photography, Film, Literature, Musical Competition or Dance Choreography entries. This year’s theme is “Together We Can” rules and forms are in the office deadline for submissions are Friday November 16th.

• Boys Golf make up tryouts are on Mon. Regular tryouts will be on Wed 10/20 at 2:30. Ck with Coaches Fauver and Timberlake to sign up


CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• Science Olympiad meets TODAY in Room 14 at lunch. Come if you have an interest in Science.
