STUDENT INFORMATION
• Pasta for Pennies is now taking place through May 28th in your 2nd period classes. Bring in money to donate to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. The class who collects the most money gets an Olive Garden catered pasta Party!
• Prom tickets are now on sale at the student store during lunch. Pick up a form in Room 43, find a date, and buy your bid! This week only prices are $170/couple and $90/individual with an ASB sticker, and $180/ couple and $95/individual without an ASB sticker. The LAST day to buy tickets is this Friday, May 28th so hurry up and buy tickets to the 2010 MCHS Prom surely an “Affair to Remember”.
• ATTENTION next year’s Juniors and Seniors: Now is your chance to sign up for student parking next year. Come to the Guidance Office before/after school or during snack or lunch to sign up. Students are not allowed to sign up for their friends.
• Teachers: please send unattended student textbooks from your room to the library. The textbooks maybe lost or mislaid.
• Students, faculty and staff: Please assist with the search for your new principal. Dr. Rohrer, and our new superintendent will be available in the library at lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, May 26th and 27th to receive your comments and advice regarding qualifications desirable in your new leader.
• Sign-ups for the Dodgeball Tournament will take place this week. Sign-ups will be outside the student store at lunch. There will be 5 people per team and the cost will be $10 per team.
• Scholar Quiz: Students can pick up team sign-up sheets in either the ASB room or the LaVista room. Sign ups will be held at 7:45 am on Wednesday, May 26th in front of the student store. Students must have the sign up sheets completed. Only 64 teams will play-first come, first served! Scholar quiz begins with 64 teams on Tuesday, June 1st during lunch. The finals will be held Tuesday June 8th in the auditorium during 3rd period.
