STUDENT INFORMATION


• The Choral Department is holding auditions starting next week. If interested in participating in any of the four choirs please come to the choir room and sign up with Mr. Hayden. Come join the award winning Mira Costa Choral Department.

• SAT Savvy Session 5 Prep Program starts May 8th. Last chance to sign up for the SAT Savvy on the Mira Costa campus. Come to Room 18, 50 or the CCC to sign up!

• Advanced Drama auditions are next week. Please see Ms. Mathews in Room 1 for information. You must be a current Sophomore or Junior and had one drama class. See Ms. Mathews for more entrance info.

• If you do not meet the prerequisites for entrance into a class, we have a new waiver policy and process that you may want to explore. All info and forms are available on the website under forms and documents. Waiver requests are being accepted in the office now!

• Students! If you would like to take 2 math or 2 science courses next year, you can! We want to make the changes now, so please make an appointment to see your counselor.


CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• Christian Club meets TODAY at lunch in Room 201 and 202

• Girls League meets TODAY at lunch in Room 34

• $5 benefit show held by Big Hearts Club TODAY at the Journey of Faith Church (located across from the baseball field on meadows) featuring rock artists Safe Haven, The Shepherd’s Son and Peter JK


SENIORS

• GRADNITE tickets will be on sale in the Quad Monday, May 3rd. Buy your tickets before May 15th to be entered in the drawing for a $100 gift certificate from surf concepts.

• Seniors, please submit photos for the senior slide show by Friday, April 30th. Photos can be submitted in the office or at [email protected].

• Tickets for the Senior trip to Six Flags are on sale at the student store at lunch. Admission, all you can eat lunch and a bus ride with all of your favorite classmates all for $42. Don’t miss out; the last day is April 30th. If you aren’t going to Magic Mountain you will report to your homeroom class from 9am to 12:30pm


SPORTS

• TODAY is your last day to visit our fabulous Aquatics Snack Bar and is the “Almost Cinco De Mayo Day”. Come by and enjoy a special fiesta menu from El Gringo at Snack Bar prices! Go Mustang Swimmers.

• Please remember to display your parking pass at all times while on campus to avoid receiving a ticket. See Mary Glunt in the Admin. Office if you don’t have one or need a day pass.
