STUDENT INFORMATION

• Pre-Sale tickets for the Wiz are on sale at snack and lunch in Room 1. $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults. At the door; seniors and students are $12 and adults are $15. Show times are
April 22, 23, 24 at 7:30pm and matinees are at 2:00pm April 24th.

• Richstones’ annual Pier-to-Pier Walkathon is on April 24th. Don’t forget to bring your friends, family and walking shoes. Sign up either online or go to Ms. Vaughn’s room, Rm. 18, for sign up forms!

• AP Students: The final AP Exam pre-identification session is Wednesday, April 28th at 3:30pm in the Small Gym

Meeting will last approximately 40 minutes. Students must attend one and need to be on time, bring a #2 pencil and something (a clipboard, book, etc.) on which to write.

• National Honors Society dues can be paid TODAY. Please bring $20 dollars to Room 21 at lunch.

• The Choral Department is holding auditions starting next week. If interested in participating in any of the four choirs please come to the choir room and sign up with Mr. Hayden. Come join the award winning Mira Costa Choral Department.

• The next In-N-Out Honor Roll Recognition Event sponsored by the PTSA will be held on Tuesday, April 27th and all eligible students must bring their current Mira Costa ID’s to the school auditorium to participate. This event is for students who earned a G.P.A of 3.5 or higher last semester at Mira Costa. In-N-Out will serve lunch during the regular lunch period (12:21-12:51 p.m) Grilled cheese sandwiches are also available. In addition, a complimentary lunch will be served to all teachers and staff members, beginning at 12:00 noon.

• If you do not meet the prerequisites for entrance into a class, we have a new waiver policy and process that you may want to explore. All info and forms are available on the website under forms and documents. Waiver requests are being accepted in the office now!

• Students! If you would like to take 2 math or 2 science courses next year, you can! We want to make the changes now, so please make an appointment to see your counselor.





CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• Didn’t get the community service you craved this year? KEY CLUB is up for next year, so feel free to join us in Room 61, TODAY at lunch. We are holding elections for leadership positions for next year. Don’t miss your chance to get involved!

• Christian club TODAY at lunch in Room 201 and 202

• Come to Gay-Straight Alliance Club TODAY at lunch! New members always welcome!

• Come to Foreign Film Club TODAY at lunch in Room 206



SENIORS

• Seniors please pick up your graduation announcements during snack and lunch only at the attendance office.

• Tickets for the Senior trip to Six Flags are on sale at the student store at lunch. Admission, all you can eat lunch and a bus ride with all of your favorite classmates all for $42. Don’t miss out, the last day is April 30th. You need to purchase the ticket before this date so we can order the buses.

• A representative from AFS will be here Friday April 23rd all day in the library to discuss foreign exchange programs.


FACULTY

• Teachers: TODAY is Recycling Thursday. Please have a student take you classroom bin to the recycling center on Stadium Way behind Room 74. Thank you.
