STUDENT INFORMATION
• If you are interested in film, television or journalism, there’s still time to join the nationally award-winning Mustang Morning News staff. For application information see Mr. Hernandez in Room 108
• Yearbook is looking for page designers, writers, and photographers to be on next years staff. Applications are available in Room 8 and 9 and are due on Wednesday, April 14th at the end of the school day.
• In conjunction with The Gathering Place, the Guidance department will be offering a support group for students who feel they have been affected by the recent loss of a fellow student. If you feel that you would like to talk to someone please come join us. The group will be held TODAY during lunch. If you are interested please bring a sack lunch from home. The group will start promptly at 12:25pm in the guidance conference room that is located in the main office. Thank you and have a great day.
• Richstone Stones’ annual Pier-to-Pier Walkathon is on April 24th. Don’t forget to bring your friends, family and walking shoes. Sign up either online or go to Ms. Vaughn’s room, Rm. 18, for sign up forms!
• Richstone and Baobob Club are holding a garage sale on Sunday, April 11th on the Peck side of the Costa parking lot, starting at 7AM. Money will be donated to the Walkathon! If you have anything you would like to donate, TODAY is the last chance to bring it to Ms. Vaughn’s room, Rm. 18.
• Calling all dancers! Don’t forget dance team tryouts are April 19th through April 22nd. Packets are in the main office.
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Richstones’ annual Pier to Pier Walkathon is on April 24th. Don’t forget to bring your friends, family and walking shoes! Sign up either online or go to Ms. Vaughn’s room, Room 18 for sign up forms.
• The Pink Ribbon Club will be holding a benefit show TODAY at the Coffee Cartel in Redondo Beach. All are welcome to come support our cause for breast cancer awareness and enjoy an evening of entertainment.
SENIORS
• Tickets for the Senior trip to Six Flags are on sale at the student store at lunch. Admission, all you can eat lunch and a bus ride with all of your favorite classmates all for $42. Don’t miss out, it’ll beat going to school that day. This is the best deal Magic Mountain has to offer.
• Any Seniors who didn’t pick up their graduation announcements on Thursday, may do so starting
Monday, April 12th during snack and lunch only at the attendance office.
SPORTS
• Come to the Boy’s Volleyball Alumni match TODAY at 7pm. This match will feature many amazing alumni including gold medalist Eric Fonoimoana.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Sophomores and Juniors are invited to the Leadership Manhattan Beach program. Participants will be part of a collaborative team with community leaders. Applications info is in the CCC.
• El Camino will be administrating placement test here on April 12th and 13th. Sign up in the CCC.
