STUDENT INFORMATION

• MCHS 10th Annual All Media Art Show, April 24th to May 6th at Manhattan Beach Creative Center. Pick up applications in room 107, 116 or 102.

• Got Spirit? We want it! The MCHS Spirit Program is excited to announce Cheerleading and Song leading Tryouts on Monday, April 12th-Thursday, April 15th. Pick up a tryout packet in the Main Office or visit us online at www.mchspepsquad.com for more info.

• Current Sophomores and Juniors-Reminder- if you were absent or did not have your scheduling forms sign by your parents, please be sure to return them to your counselor ASAP. Be sure to check all of the prerequisites prior to turning these forms in.

• New books have arrived in the library. A gift from the Manhattan Beach Historical Society has provided 31 new library books for students and staff. Come check them out!.


CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• The Greatest Silence Club meeting TODAY in Room 47

• All Freshmen interested in joining Model UN next year MUST sign up for freshmen tryouts in room 202 before March 26th.

• Attention! Beach Club will hold a nation ball game after school TODAY at 4:30pm! Come to Mr. Bartlett’s room, Room 67 for more info.

• Ping Pong Club meets TODAY at lunch in the small gym. New people are welcome to join.



SENIORS

• Applications for Senior Graduation and Recognition speeches can be obtained from Mrs. Lee-Iwai in the Guidance Office. They will be due back on March 26th.


SPORTS

• Please release the Boys Lacrosse Team at 12:45pm.

• Dear Faculty and Staff: It’s time for us to pick the top 10 custom covers from the selection of talented entries for the 2010-2011 Student Planner Custom Cover Contest. TODAY is the last day to stop by Shari Humphrey’s office in the admin. bldg. to vote. Next week, our top 10 choices (along w/all the talented art) will be displayed in the cafeteria for the student body to begin voting for the winning 3 custom covers, which will be featured on our student planners for next year. The top 3 will be announced after spring Break!
