STUDENT INFORMATION
• Mira Costa Choir invites you to our first Video Game Tournament Fundraiser. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Start time 11am, price $30. Tournament winner will receive $200.00. Please pick up entry form in Choir Room (RG16).
• Attention all former students of Mr. Gilman’s photo class, if you would like to pick up your portfolio from that class go and speak to Mr. Mancilla in the Administration Office.
• There will be an important France Trip meeting Friday, February 5th at lunch in Room 207 for all those signed up for this years trip.
• Marine Science and former Marine Science students interested in sailing aboard the Tall Ship Expedition please contact Mr. Coller in room 63.
• Are you a Junior or Senior interested in what is happening in Sacramento with the education budget? Would you like the opportunity to talk with legislators about issues facing you as a student? The PTA annual Capitol Convoy will again be taking students to Sacramento for two days, March 2-3 paid by PTSA. Administrators, teachers, parents and students will meet with state leaders and address government issues that will impact our school. Applications can be picked up in the front office. They must be completed and returned no later than 4pm Friday, January 29 to the PTSA mailbox in the main office in order to be considered for the trip. It is short notice, so if you would like to go, you need to get your application soon!

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Red Cross Haiti Relief Fundraiser: Come to either Room 200 or Room 18 to donate money to the victims of Haiti, anything is greatly appreciated. Shoes are also a great contribution.
• Hear Ye! Hear Ye! There be a Comedy Sports Match TODAY! All of the profits go to the people of Haiti. Admission is $5 at the door. Show starts at 7:30pm so don’t be late!
• Link Crew is hosting the Cocoa Cram Study Session in the cafeteria on Monday from 3pm-5pm. This is open for all grades and for all subjects. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
• Beach Club TODAY at lunch in Mr. Bartlett’s room, room 67. We will be talking about nation ball and viewing last weeks nation ball pictures.
