STUDENT INFORMATION

• Mira Costa is in the running to have power 106 take over our campus for a day with a performance by Justin Bieber and DJ Felli Fel. Vote everyday on www.power106.com between January 18th-31st

• It’s time for the Neptunian Women’s Club Art and Photo Contest! Entry forms are available in the office or from Ms. Zask, Mr. Reichardt, Mr. Mellis, Mr. Hillger or Mr. Hernandez. Deadline to turn in entries is Thursday, Feb. 4th.

• Mira Costa Choir invites you to our first Video Game Tournament Fundraiser. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Start time 11am, price $30. Tournament winner will receive $200.00. Please pick up entry form in Choir Room (RG16).

• All students signed up for the 2010 France trip with Mrs. Gonalons must come to our first lunch meeting Friday, February 5th in Room 207.

• Boys Lacrosse will be collecting gently used shoes TODAY from 3pm to 5pm at the Meadows ramp on Stadium Way. The shoes will be donated to the Soles for Souls organization who are bringing relief supplies to Haiti.

• Attention all former students of Mr. Gilman’s photo class, if you would like to pick up your portfolio from that class go and speak to Mr. Mancilla in the Administration Office.


CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS

• Beach club This Friday at lunch! We will be viewing last Friday’s nation ball game pictures!

• The Pink Ribbon Club will be meeting TODAY at lunch in Mr. Bartlett’s room, Room 67.

• To all students interested in the Latin Language: Coqui Exercitus meets TODAY at lunch in Room 6. We will be re-taking our yearbook photo so be sure to come!

• Red Cross Haiti Relief Fundraiser: Come to either Room 200 or Room 18 to donate money to the victims of Haiti, anything is greatly appreciated. Shoes are also a great contribution.

• Lend a Hand Club TODAY in Room 41 at lunch!

• Club Presidents Reminder: All club information is due TODAY to the yearbook room. Thank you!


SENIORS

• Financial Aid Presentation for Senior parents is TODAY at 7pm in the Auditorium. A speaker will be there to talk about FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and to answer financial aid questions.

• The last Senior Scholarship Notebook information meeting is the 21st in the CCC during lunch. It is mandatory for all seniors to attend one of these meetings if they are turning in a scholarship notebook.
