STUDENT INFORMATION
• Leaving campus without an Off Grounds Pass is a Truant. Your parents cannot clear the absence after the fact.
• REMINDER: Late bulletins or bulletins received after 11:30am will not be placed in the bulletin for the next day. Thank You.
• Powder Puff Players: Team photos will be taken TODAY at lunch at Waller Stadium. Bring money or a check if you plan to get pictures!
• This year’s Powder Puff Game is TODAY at 7pm- $ 6.00 to get in. Be there!
• Hey Costa, Operation Happiness has begun and will end on TODAY. Give back to the less fortunate by bringing in cans and gifts for your adoptive child or family. Make a difference; give them a holiday to remember.
• Come one, come all! SAT Savvy intensive Prep course- Sign up now before Jan. 15th to get a discount. Prep course is for March test and class is held on campus. For more information go to Room 18/50
CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Calling all students! Need community service hours? Enjoy working with senior citizens? Come to Room 50 at lunch on Thursday to be part of this community outreach club.
• Come to Operation Smile club in Mr. Bartlett’s room TODAY at lunch.
• H2O club meets TODAY during lunch in Room 61. It will be a short meeting.
• Habitat for Humanity meets TODAY in Room 20.
• Please come to Make-A-Wish Club TODAY Room 120 at lunch. WE will be talking about our upcoming car wash and food will be served!
• Team LA meets in Room 5 TODAY at lunch.
• Young Republican Club meeting in Room 18 TODAY. Free pizza and snacks!
• Get your artwork, prose, short stories, and photography published in Costa’s own literacy magazine! For more information, come to Room 18.
SENIORS
• Seniors: LAST CHANCE to order your cap/gown and graduation announcements December 16th during snack/lunch in the Quad. Jostens class ring delivery will be at the same time.
SPORTS
• Come and support the Boys Soccer teams TODAY as we kick off against Long Beach Wilson at 3:00pm.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• The CCC is having a Practice ACT on Saturday, January 9, from 8:30am- 1pm. Cost is $20-come to the CCC to register. This will be a good way to compare your scores to the PSAT.
• PSAT test results will be distributed Wednesday, 12/16 during snack and lunch in the auditorium.
• Attention all Seniors who have applied to UCLA: Steven LoCascio, an alumni from Mira Costa, and current student at UCLA will be here TODAY at lunch to discuss the UCLA Alumni Scholarship and Scholars Club. He will discuss how to apply for the scholarship and answer questions about being a student at UCLA. This is a great opportunity to get information first hand from a student.
