STUDENT INFO
· The Neptunian Woman’s Club is sponsoring its 40th Student Art and Photography Contest for grades K-5 (art) and 6-12 (art and photography). Deadline for submission to the school office is Friday, May 10, 2019 before 3:00 pm. An awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 19 at 1:00 pm in the Neptunian clubhouse, Manhattan Beach. · Attention All Mustangs: Young Republicans and Young Democrats will be debating environmental policy during AM Office Hours on March 27 in the Small Theater. We encourage all to see the event.

· JUNIORS – Boeing Internship Opportunity Mira Costa High School Juniors have a unique opportunity to participate in a highly selective summer internship at Boeing. If you are interested in applying, it is mandatory that each student and a parent attend the information session on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:30pm in the CCC. It is required that you sign up on Naviance.

El Camino Day – Saturday, March 2, 8:30am check-in. Complete orientation, take an assessment survey, meet with a counselor to create an educational plan, and learn about student support programs. Free parking in Lot C on Manhattan Beach Blvd. Sign-up at bit.ly/eccevents.

· SoCal Roc – The SoCal Roc Counselor is available in the CCC on Monday mornings to share program information and help you register for classes. Sign up in the CCC to learn more.
· Free Practice ACT or SAT on Campus
Revolution Prep is offering a FREE full-length SAT or ACT at Mira Costa – Choose either test. Saturday, March 2 at 9am – 12:30pm; Mira Costa High School – Rooms 14 and 16. Bring: pencils, calculator, water and a snack. The students can score their exams before they leave via their smart phones. The essay can be taken at home and submitted for a score and feedback.
