·      Mira Costa Boys’ Lacrosse takes on Newbury Park at home TONIGHT, Friday, Mar. 9. JV kicks off at 5 pm, followed by Varsity at 7 pm! Come cheer on your Mustang lacrosse boys and grab some amazing grass-fed Kobe burgers and chicken wraps from Canvas Food Truck!

·      NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE? Collect travel size toiletries from your friends/neighbors/families and assemble hygiene kits for LUNCHES WITH LOVE, next delivery Sunday, Mar. 18. ·      Incoming Juniors & Seniors finalizing classes with your counselors for next year: Honors Earth Science is the place to be. *Earn college credit with no AP exam; four major fields of study are Astronomy, Oceanography, Meteorology and Geology. ·      Last call for Costa’s literary magazine, Reflections: Submit your photography/prose/poetry/etc. to [email protected] for a chance to be a published artist this May!

·      Mustang Club meetings are every Monday at lunch in Room 15! Come and express your Mustang Spirit!

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

·      Junior Girls

American Legion Girls State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high-school students. It is a participatory program in which students become part of the operation of local, county and state government. If selected, students attend the week-long program at Claremont College beginning on June 25. Please come to the CCC for application instructions. Applications must be turned in to the CCC by March 12.

·      Summer Programs:

o   BYU Design Week June 18-23. This exciting, one-week overnight camp is for youth ages 15-18 who love creating and being around other creatives too. Design Week combines three disciplines into one amazing week: Illustration, Graphic Design, and Photography. Professors and design student counselors will help you take your work to the next level.
