STUDENT INFO
· NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE? Lunches with Love is collecting bagged hygiene kits AND holding our first-ever TOY DRIVE in partnership with Union Rescue Mission. They have an unprecedented number of women, children and families, and are in dire need of unwrapped toys, beauty products and gift cards for all ages including teens. · Battle of the Beach! Happening TONIGHT at Waller Stadium. The big game vs. Redondo starts at 7 pm. We will be recognizing our Seniors from football, band, dance and cheer before the game at 6 pm. Come out and support your Mustangs and seniors.
· Come see The Diviners TONIGHT at 7:30 pm or on Saturday at 7:30 pm! And guess what? There are performances next week too! Be sure to buy tickets at the Student Store or on the Mira Costa website.
· Art Night: Come support the visual arts TONIGHT. Buy original artwork from current and alumni students, make crafts, and take a photo in our hand-painted photo booth. All friends & family are welcome. Free to attend, but bring cash for purchases. Join us TONIGHT in the quad outside Room 109 from 5-7 pm.
· Attention all students who are starting a new club: The deadline for submitting all papers is TODAY!

SPORTS
· Last chance to try out for Boys’ Soccer: Meet Coach Smith in Room 132 at 3 pm TODAY. Come ready to play.
· Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be held from 7-9 pm at Mira Costa Monday, Nov. 6. If you are a junior or senior interested in trying out or if you cannot make the Nov. 6 date, please contact Coach Amaral directly at [email protected].
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
· If you are not a part of your school’s Animal Shelter Club, are you kitten me right meow? Come to Room 15 during lunch on Fridays (TODAY) to help animals find their forever homes.
· South Bay Food Initiative: Come to the club and care for our community. Join us at the first meeting of the South Bay Food Initiative starting Tuesday, Nov. 7 in Mr. Piper’s Room 203.
· Want to be a published writer, photographer, or artist? Mira Costa’s Reflections Literary Magazine meets on Mondays at lunch in Room 207. We’d love to have you!
· Interested in joining the Costa Badminton Team? Come to Badminton Club on Tuesdays at lunch in Room 332 to learn more!
