· Dance Team’s Annual Lip Sync will be on Nov. 16! Sign-ups will be from Wednesday, Oct. 25 until next Tuesday, Oct. 31 in the hall by Room 45.
· Wanna get spooked? Halloween Noontime Theatre is here! Scootch over to Room 1 during PM office hours on Wednesday to watch some spooky scenes!

SPORTS
· It’s that time of the year! The 2017 Lip Sync Contest is here! Calling all clubs, sports teams, groups and individuals: Show us your Lip Sync skills and win a chance at PRIZE MONEY. Sign-ups start this Wednesday through Friday, 10/25 – 10/27, at lunch. Look for the Dance Team Table near the Mustang Mall. Show is Thursday, Nov. 16!
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
· Come to Jewish Cultural Club TODAY in Mr. Fauver’s Room 200 during lunch to listen to the head of a Native American tribe give his perspective on Israel.
· Come to Headstrong Club TODAY in Room 21 to help support mental health awareness.
· There is a mandatory meeting this Friday, Oct. 27, at lunch for Chemistry Club in Mr. Nodado’s Room 342. The tour of CNSI will occur this same day from 3-6 pm. Everyone who signed up for the tour must come to this meeting!
· Come to Badminton Club to learn about how you can join the Costa Badminton Team! Meetings are on Tuesdays (TODAY) in Room 332 at lunch.
· Come to Drama Club every Wednesday during lunch in Room 1 for announcements on new and exciting things happening in the Drama/Tech Department.
· It was a dark and stormy Tuesday during lunch in Room 1, when Improv Club made people laugh until their stomachs burst! Come (TODAY) …if you dare!
· Come to Solar Cup Team meeting this Wednesday.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
· SENIORS – The CCC will hold a Common App-Naviance matching workshop on the following time/date. No sign up necessary. Lunch Workshop: TODAY, Oct. 24
· College Representative Visits In The CCC – If visit is during class please get teacher permission to attend. This is an opportunity to learn about your schools of interest and meet the admission counselors. View all visits and sign-up to attend on NAVIANCE.

· SoCal Roc is now enrolling for its 2nd quarter 9 week classes: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Banking and Financial Services, and Business Entrepreneur. Classes begin November 6. Come to the CCC to sign up to speak with a SoCal Roc counselor and learn more about the interactive Career Technical classes that we offer.
· Local Events – CSU Dominguez Hills Super Saturday, African-American College & Career Summit on Saturday, Oct. 28, 8:30am-2:00pm, Loker Student Union, 1000 E. Victoria St., Carson, CA. The purpose of the CSUDH African-American Initiative is to increase college preparation, enrollment, and graduation rates for African-American students.
