· It’s 8:53pm on a brisk Sunday night. You are out to catch a bit of fresh air. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a mysterious figure, maybe a student at Mira Costa High School, strolling down the damp sidewalk on Peck Avenue. The figure’s shoes slide against the rough walkway until finally, they stop. Wait, are they looking at you? Whoever-they-are is looking right at you and they say, “Bummed out about the fact that English classes at Costa greatly limit your opportunity for storytelling and narrative crafting? Then come to the Storytelling Club to participate in all different forms of imaginative or real life storytelling. The Storytelling Club is the best place to meet new people, express creativity without judgment, and practice one of the most valued skills in the world. Come learn about our club at our first meeting in Room 47 (Mr. Chow's room) TODAY and become a founding member!” The figure then commenced to shuffle home. The End.
