STUDENT INFO
· FOUND: Tent! The students who were looking for a tent left after the Relay for Life should see Jeff Mullikin in the Maintenance Office by Room 109. It was found.
· Been hearing cool things about Link Crew from your friends and teachers? Come by Ms. Hutchinson’s Room 20 TODAY at lunch for a quick informational meeting about this new program. Applications will be available.
· Hey Future Link Leaders! Don’t stress if you have a conflict with one or more of the required events on the application. Please still turn in the application and let us know which dates you will not be available. Applications are due June 1
· Students may pick up lost and confiscated items from Prom in the admin office at snack or lunch only.
· Saturdays are for the boys, but Fridays are inclusive to all genders. Come to this Friday’s Boys versus Girls Comedy Sportz Match at 7 pm in the Small Theater. Tickets are $5.
· Attention all who received an All Awards Invitation: Please meet TODAY, May 23, at snack in the Auditorium for a brief rehearsal.
· ALL STUDENTS! The 2017-18 Mira Costa Student Planner Cover Design Contest needs your designs NOW! See the MCHS website for more information and entry rules. Designs will be displayed and voted upon by faculty and students. Students with the three winning designs will receive prizes, compliments of the Student Store! Submit your vision of Costa to Carol Meeks in the Admin Building by May 26. Get creative!
· The Spring Dodgeball Tournament has arrived! Sign-ups go until TODAY during lunch. Teams consist of 6 players plus one alternate/coach. Games will begin on 5/24. Come sign up for the last tournament of the year!
FACULTY
· All faculty helping with the All Awards Assembly on 5/24, please meet in the Auditorium at snack TODAY, May 23, for a brief rehearsal.
SENIORS
· Caps & Gowns and graduation tickets will be distributed this Thursday, 5/25, in the foyer of the Auditorium during snack or lunch only.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
· LOL. Come to Improv Club on Tuesdays (TODAY) in the Drama Room 1 during lunch for a healthy chuckle.
· Come to Drama Club this Wednesday at lunch in Room 1.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

This series will be most helpful for Juniors; however all are welcome to attend.
· SENIORS: All graduating seniors are required to complete the Senior Clearance process by submitting their post-high school plans. Please complete the following steps:
*NOTE: The deadline to submit senior packets has passed. Please submit copies immediately to the CCC.
-If you are planning to enter a 4-year or Community College:
1. Updated Naviance college admissions results page. (Go to the College tab. For colleges that you did NOT end up applying to, mark as “withdrawn.” For colleges that you applied to and did not get into, mark “denied.” For colleges you applied to and got into, mark “accepted.” Finally, indicate which school you are going to at the bottom of the page.)
2. Completed senior survey (on Naviance, under the “About Me” tab)
3. Acceptance letter from the school you will be attending, or verbally tell us your plans for next year – taking a gap year, job, military, traveling, etc.
This process will ensure that your final transcript will be sent to the school you plan to attend in the fall.
